NEWS FLASH Heart of England Team for Badminton Dressage Championships July 20th 2011 Karen Bosworth riding Just for Fun Joanne Matthews riding Raindance Claire Ballantyne riding Dein Herz. Heart of England is Moving on June 30th ‘My parents who have helped me run the shows for the past 11 years would like to retire this year and without them I do not feel I will have the time to give to running the 50 competitions we have run each year over the past decade. I will continue teaching and training horses both in this country and in Australia , especially as I am trying to continue a BSc (Hons) course at the same time. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both my Mum & Dad for their support over the last eleven years it has been great fun, but they need the time now to do what interest them without any further responsibility for horses when I am out of the country. My father in particular, he has been responsible for the accounts, vat and security work, which I will miss, but he needs time to update his intellectual property that no one else can do. I would also like to thank all my pupils for their support and I will do my best to prioritise myself for them in the future. To my owners I need to add a big thank you and will continue to give your horses the time they have been used to and deserve.' The website will continue and Claire's teaching dates and venues will be posted. The telephone number 01889 50 50 48 remains. Land is in the process of being acquired, hopefully after the necessary permissions a new smaller home for the Heart of England will arise.
